TRAVEL PLANS, DELAYS OR QUESTIONS:
You may also use the link to update your plans at any point until the deadline using the link that you received from Regatta Network registration. It’s helpful for us to have an idea of what flights you are taking in the event of weather delays, etc. If you encounter a delay please call the registrar. Any questions regarding transportation, airlines or airports should be directed to the registrar.
Dallas is served by two airports – Dallas Ft. Worth (DFW), which is the main airport and about 20 miles from White Rock Lake, and Love Field, which is in Dallas proper and about 7 miles from the lake. Love Field is served primarily by Southwest Airlines. Most other carriers operate out of DFW.
It is suggested that you allow at least 1 1/2 hours from arrival at DFW, or 1 hour at Love Field, to get to the club. It is suggested that you leave the club at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled departure from DFW or 1 ½ hours for Love Field.
DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS AIRPORT:
It is difficult to get around the Dallas area without a car. It is recommended that you rent a car at the airport when you arrive. All major rental companies are available at both airports.
From DFW Airport, take the north exit to eastbound Hwy 114. Follow Hwy 114 about 6 miles and exit from the left lane onto Hwy 348/Northwest Hwy. Continue on Hwy 348/Northwest Hwy which will turn into Loop 12/Northwest Hwy. Follow Northwest Hwy about 14 miles from the Hwy 114 turnoff. You pass a bridge construction project and then turn right onto Buckner Blvd. Take the first exit into White Rock Lake Park and follow the park road to the Corinthian Sailing Club.
From Love Field, take Mockingbird Lane east about 7 miles. Turn right into White Rock Park immediately after you cross the lake bridge. Make a left at the bottom of the hill and proceed to the Corinthian Sailing Club.
See map on CSC website for additional information.
