We race every Sunday
We race every Sunday afternoon except Easter and Christmas, weather permitting. Skippers are often looking for crew. Come down to the club about 12:30 and let some of the sailors on the dock know that you are interested in crewing. You may catch a ride.

I learned to sail one summer, in a Flying Scot, when I was in college.....
A LONG time ago.
As a follow up, I enjoyed the challenge of lessons in a Sunfish at the local YMCA. I do remember the importance of learning to get the darn thing back upright and me back into it!
I found the entire experience to be great fun, but just didn't have the opportunity to keep it up over the years. I've been out to sail with a few friends just a handful of times since that beginning year.
I'm afraid that I have forgotten most of what I ever learned and am curious to see if I would enjoy it as much the second time around. I'll be kind of starting from scratch so maybe being a third person would be best option for me in the beginning. If you have the patience for a "beginner" whose at least familiar with the sport and enthusiastic about participating, I will give it my best effort! I'm a pretty quick learner and strong for my size.
