Seems a former member passed away recently..

Wallof, Jr., Paul George Paul George Wallof Jr., beloved husband and father, 88, passed away January 19, 2014 with his wife and family close by. Paul was a lifelong Dallas resident, the older of 2 children. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II specializing in airplane communications. He married Nancy Sue Connell in 1949. They had 2 children. Paul graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1942. After serving in the Navy from 1943 -1946, Paul graduated from SMU with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, class of 1949. Paul went to work for Texas Utilities Fuel Co. He retired from TU after 40+ years of service. In 1990, Paul and Nancy moved to Holly Lake Ranch, in East Texas. They moved back to the Dallas area in 2008, to be closer to friends and family. Paul had a great interest in music. He played clarinet in the WWHS band and had a short term as Drum Major of the Corpus Christie Naval Air Station band. Paul also loved sailing at the Corinthian Yacht Club at White Rock Lake with Nancy. He also enjoyed taking his cherished Westie, Downey, for walks. Paul was preceded in death by his parents Paul G. Wallof, Sr. and Esther W. Wallof. He is survived by his wife Nancy Wallof, brother and sister-in-law Edward (Web) and Rachelle Wallof of Olympia, WA daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Charles (Duff) Edwards of Dallas TX, son and daughter in law Jim and Paula Wallof of Rowlett, TX; grandsons Jason and his wife, Ashley Pappas of Dallas, TX, Kevin Wallof of San Antonio, TX, and Stefan Wallof and his fianc???????e Cassie Vogel of Richardson, TX; great granddaughter Addison Pappas, and great grandson John Pappas, and many nieces and nephews. The Memorial Service will be held at The Chapel of the Cross, 4333 Cole Ave, Dallas, TX. 75205, Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 1:00 pm. His final resting place will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Dallas. Memorials may be made to Dallas SPCA.
