Four boats from CSC competed in the Special Olympics State Championship Regatta at Houston Yacht Club. One boat sailed Level 3 (Special Olympics sailors with on-board) coach, two sailed Level 2 (Special Olympics sailors skippering with unified partner crew) and one sailed Level 1 (unified partner skippering with Special Olympics sailors as crew.) Houston Yacht Club had 1 Level 2 boat and 2 Level 1 boats. The results for the CSC sailors are listed below. September 19, 2009

Stewart Draheim with Bill Draheim as crew won the Youth Championship, Gretta Mittman with Heidi Gough and Natalie Mauney won the Women's Championship and Kelly Gough with Heidi Gough lost the tie breaker for first to take second in the North American Championship at Ephraim Yacht Club, WI. August 1-7, 2009

Scott Mauney wins the Flying Scot Fall 2008 Series.
CSC sailors did well at Wurstfest. Doug Peckover won the Laser class, Richard Wade the Flying Scots and Stewart Drahiem the 420s. Other CSC members did well. CSC won the trophy for the most participants as well. This was the last stop for the Texas Laser Circuit which Doug Peckover won. November 1-2, 2008.
