11-19-2007 Kendrick Lawrence and Steve Coman won the gold medal at the Special Olympics World Games in China. CSC was well represented at the Wurstfest Regatta having entries is most fleets. William F Leonard and Carol Gough Memorial Trophies were awarded at the CSC Annual Banquet. The Youth Sailing page has been updated.

10-16-2007 Nine schools attended SMU Frozen Hate Regatta. Photos available.

We have begun laying the walkway and pad decking for the new dingy pad project. We need volunteers to help drive screws, carry lumber, etc. Also, those who currently have dingys stored on pads need to move their boats while the construction is taking place. If you wish to continue to keep your dingy stored on the new pad, or if you are on a waiting list, this is an excellent opportunity to secure a spot for the future pad assignments. Volunteer work preformed will count toward you club service requirement. Please contact Pat Manicchia, Frank Richards or Anderson Jones for more info.

9-8-2004 Stephanie Henkel, our Leukemia Cup Regatta Honored Hero, died September 4th from Lymphoma.

8-31-2006 Gavin Rudolph placed second in the Junior Olympics. Gene Soltero took 3rd in the French Open Nationals. Bruce Faust won the Butterfly Summer series. The Corinthian Single Handed Regatta has been rescheduled for Sept. 30.

8-10-2006 Scores and photos from Texas Youth Race Week and Opti Nationals have been posted. Some really interesting photos of CSC in the 1950s that Willis McQueen provided have been added to the club history. Greta Mitman has also provided more information and photos on the wind damage at the Flying Scot NACs.

7-12-2006 The Flying Scot North American Championships were hit by a tornado yesterday after the last race. No one was hurt, but many boats were damaged. The NACs have been canceled.
